The occurrence
On 08 September 2024, a Cessna U206F aircraft operated by KBM Forestry Consultants Inc. was conducting an aerial power line inspection flight southeast of Lloydminster Airport, Alberta, with 2 crew on board.
While turning at a low altitude, the aircraft descended and collided with terrain. The aircraft was destroyed. Both occupants were fatally injured.
The TSB deployed to the scene and is investigating.
