Investigation report: Fatal collision with terrain near Weyman Airpark, New Brunswick
Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (A24A0046) into the July 19, 2024 fatal collision with terrain involving a privately registered Earthstar Aircraft eGull basic ultralight aircraft near Weyman Airpark, New Brunswick.
The TSB conducted a limited-scope, class 4 investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues. See the Policy on Occurrence Classification for more information.
The TSB is an independent agency that investigates air, marine, pipeline, and rail transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
